Whiting-Turner did a tremendous job remodeling one of neighborhood destinations, the Mission Valley Mall. Now know as “The Valley”, we worked night shifts to complete this project. Now equipped with all new hardscape, stairs and turf; our neighborhood mall was given a massive facelift.
“Westfield Mission Valley, formerly known as “Westfield Shoppingtown Mission Valley,” has been a central hub for San Diego shoppers for decades. It was part of a $290 million deal in 2023 when Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield sold both Mission Valley shopping centers to separate buyers. The combined properties span 1.5 million square feet. The reimagined “The Valley” will occupy the eastern portion of the property at 1640 Camino del Rio North, which currently attracts nearly 10 million visitors annually.” Source
